On weekends, the traffic past Karel’s is stop and go, as those driving by stop to chat with those enjoying refreshments and good company. However, during the week, when people have less time to be social, Karel’s Beach Bar takes a rest – offering bright lights intermingled with a serene sort of tranquility. as all one hears is the water lapping the shores of the promenade, and all one sees is the ever changing reflections of Karel’s lights on the dappled surface of the sea.
