In the waters around Bonaire, where I live, turtles are not abundant, but due to various legal protections and a local conservation group their numbers are at least stable. However, it is always a thrill to swim with one, and this image is based on time I spent snorkeling with a green turtle in Bonaire’s beautiful waters. Price: $95.00 Iguana Under Sun - Print Details  by Jake Richter About the image Iguanas have been a food staple on Bonaire for hundreds of years, and it is believed that iguana meet improves virility and guarantees male offspring. Be that as it may, I prefer my iguanas alive, in nature, where I can admire their prehistoric features. This particular iguana, when I found him under the protection of large plant, was not doing as good a job camouflaging himself as his kind normally do. But, in typical reptilian fashion he was absorbing as much of the sun’s warmth and light, while at the same time seeming to almost emit a glow of his own.
